In late March, the team headed to California’s wine-soaked Santa Ynez Valley for a brief camp where we did some riding, distributed goods from Doc’s Skin Care and Sako7 Socks, organized equipment, finalized the set-up on our Argon 18 bikes, met with Craig Ritchey from Easton Cycling, drank coffee, ate Clif bars and talked logistics. We also launched our new Café Jersey made by Giordana, which the riders will wear while training.
The camp achieved all its goals and gave us a chance to hang out before our first block of racing. Check out the gorgeous pics taken by Brian Hodes of VeloImages during our all too brief stay at the Restoration Oaks Ranch, just north of Santa Barbara. Cycling is a great way to see the world, and Brian’s pics showcase the valley in spring.
